On Easter Day as people at St. Luke’s Palermo processed to the altar to receive the Holy Communion, they stopped at the Good Friday plain wooden cross and attached flowers to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Altar Guild member Wendy Cousins placed her flower on the cross before receiving the Holy Communion.
