The Season of Creation with Climate Justice Niagara
Climate Justice Niagara is hosting our annual Season of Creation gathering on Wednesday, September 26th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Church of the Incarnation, 1240 old Abbey Lane, Oakville, Ontario.
This gathering is designed for the parish facilitators, but is open to anyone with an interest in the climate crisis and the Season of Creation. It will be an engaging gathering with guest speaker Andrea Rowe, chief plant lover, Halton Gardens, and groundskeeper at Church of the Incarnation, Oakville. Andrea will share information connected to her unique blend of business acumen, technical skill, and environmental passion.
Determined to create a healthier environment for her two young children, she chose to pivot her career toward climate-conscious garden design. Volunteering in local schools sparked her interest in grassroots environmental action, eventually leading her to work with local non-profit organizations, helping schools, faith-based organizations, and homeowners across Halton to implement nature-based solutions for climate resilience.
Andrea has built strong working relationships across the public and non-profit sectors, including with local governments, community foundations, and academic institutions. Known for being knowledgeable, trusted, and deeply connected, Andrea brings a passionate, community-driven approach to every project — creating outdoor spaces that are as beneficial to the environment as they are enjoyable for people.
